Working in sales is both fun and challenging. Both aspects are necessary for growth professionally as well as personally. Acting in an advisory role, meeting people, discussing solutions, pros and cons, and hopefully gaining their trust, makes sense to me. It is all done in order to add value, which often has a direct link to time and process efficiency for the customer, which in turn means increased profits for the entire channel. This is all WAY more fun than the 15 year old me would have thought.
